Yorktown, VA to Chickahominy Riverfront Park – 30 Miles
After visiting Delaware’s HP again in the daylight yesterday we finished the drive to Yorktown. Decided to stay in a hotel last night to get a good night’s sleep before setting off on the ride today. We soaked in the luxury of a bed a bit too long this morning so I ended up getting a late start. After picking up some last-minute items we were finally at the Trans America Trail starting point, the Victory Monument, at around 5 PM.
Completed an easy 30 mile ride through Williamsburg and Jamestown. Staying at a campground tonight going to try to get closer to 50 miles in tomorrow.
